A Few Simple Steps to Free Insurance Coverage – The StartDive Plan

Courtesy of Scuba School International, your Dive Center and DiveAssure, you can enjoy free insurance coverage during your training. The DiveAssure StartDive Plan includes coverage for treatment of decompression sickness (DCS) throughout your Entry Level training, and will be valid till the date of your certification, with a maximum of 6 months. All you have to do is opt in using the email you received from DiveAssure or contact us to activate your coverage.

Here is how it works :
  • DiveAssure gets your data directly from SSI to make it an extra simple and fast process.
  • DiveAssure will send you an email, letting you know they would like to offer free coverage. 
  • Just like any other trial out there, you can choose to provide your credit card details – but will not be charged until 14 days after training is over.
  • You also have the option to decline the free coverage.
  • If you opted in (giving your cc details) you will get an email confirming your free StartDive coverage.
  • Once certified, DiveAssure will automatically renew you coverage to a fully paid annual diving accident insurance plan, and send you another email with confirmation, along with the option to cancel within 14 days.
